Right? The fact that many Americans call countries outside US, Canada, UK and Europe, 3rd world countries but somehow our geography is more advanced than them.

Did I ever say it was synonymous to South America? No I did not. And calling people ignorant for their lack of education is actually petty, it doesn't even affect me considering I was well aware about Puerto Rico being part of well, the Caribbean, Central/North America, and belonging to the USA, however I doubt I would've known that if I wasn't actually interested in Geography.
