I mean... I guess I can understand the confusion? Americans in general have this strange idea that anything below the US isn't part of the continent. I know several people who think Mexico, the US, and Canada are the only countries that make up North America.

actually its like that.... Mexico, USA, Canada are part North America, from Belize to Panama (central America) from Colombia to Argentina/Chile (south America)... thats how its.

the islands like Cuba, Jamaica, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, Haiti etc are the greater antilles and the rest a bit more in the south are the lesser Antilles.

historically speaking from mexico to argentina/chile is LATINAMERICA (not south america)

and there are 2 hemispheres divided in Ecuador, the countries above ecuador are in the North Hemisphere and the ones Below are in the South Hemisphere !!

IS NOT THAT HARD... but I guess my highschool education in a 3rd world country was more advanced.
