I doubt anyone remembers, but a week or so ago, I mentioned that I might buy ARTPOP as a birthday gift for a friend of mine who loved the album and went to the artRAVE with me. Well, I did.
I gave it to her more as a reminder of how good a time we had at the concert, thinking she'd shelve it and call it a day, as she already has the majority of the album downloaded on her phone. But to my great surprise, on the way home, she opened it and popped into the CD player in the car. And then she took the sticker from the album and put it above the CD player to remember me.
We went out again today (to an art museum
) and she was still listening to it.
What a beautiful sight that was.
and then forgot about it.
I'm not over it.
