Now she is venturing into the Jazz genre by releasing her collaborative effort, Cheek to Cheek with Jazz Legend Tony Bennett in september. This album is a totally different direction for Gaga & a very interesting one as well.

I wouldn't call doing a jazz album a sign of pushing boundaries or being experimental.

Especially if the Jazz album is full of well known covers and has Tony Bennett.

Other artists have done Jazz albums before but solo with original material. So not really a big deal.
