One of the things I think alot of people missed is how Sims behave in that Gameplay trailer.

For example, Bella Goth was jogging, but then she saw a friend she liked. She she had a chat with them and then kept jogging. It's like they are behaving like a real person.

you know the only reason they've only mentioned CAS and emotions is because those are the only things that are actually featured in the game


so when the embargo ends, we'll know more about... cas and emotions

do y'all know how to install patches on the Sims 3 w/out the launcher? I keep trying but whenever I press update nothing happens.

I played Sims 2 but I just got bored.
I don't like the loading screens and the fact that you leave and go someone for a whole day then go back home and it's 10 hours earlier

But I just hate how dead the Sims 3 is.
I don't know why I expected the Clubs & Festivals to be packed but no one ever comes.
I was so jealous of all those sims popping up everywhere in Sim 2 and the Sims 2 sims have better personalities

But I guess since I played Sims 3 first(I had sims 2 when it came out but it got stolen) I'm more attached.

Plus I'm loving the custom content.

The lack of Sims in a game called the Sims pretty much says it all. I got that bistro package from the store and the cinema etc. and only 3 sims are in it at once, if I'm lucky.

I went back and played the Sims 2 and I had 20 Sims at the bistro. The Sims 3 had about 3.
& I googled someone playing the Bistro as well, and they had only 2 other Sims on the lot.

I prefer busier lots.
If you go to the beach or lake or something in The Sims 3 your usually the only ones on it.

It shouldn't be the case when even the Sims 2 Pets on PlayStation 2 (which is limited) can have like 20 - 30 Sims walking around the town square (which is about 4 lots put together).

And in University Life for TS3, when they do force the game to have more Sims, the game lags no matter how good your computer is, and as someone said before, apparently the game can't program more than a few Sims before they get stuck and can't do anything.

You should manually download and install it.

What? :O The only time that would happen if its was a park or something.

& if you watched the gameplay video, there are heaps of Sims. It's the one thing they worked on.

Sims 2 sims were so much more memorable. I swear the Sims 3 people were so forgettable.

Playing as the Burbs, and I kinda messed them up

So right after I started playing as them, I had them have a baby, which turned out to be a girl I named Alice. They then had two other babies once Alice became a teenager. The youngest one is a boy named Andrew.

So, I have Alice potty train Andrew. Problem is, it's like he never left the crib. So they're stuck. I tried deleting them (I should have reset them) and now they're both in the previous life stage, but with the same models as before Is there any way I can fix this, or will I need to start over?

I loved the Sims 2 loading screens. So amazing.

In The Sims 2 they also gave us more Worlds. You had 3 pre-made and like 15 to make your own. In The Sims 3 it was like $30 just for a new World. Ridiculous. You can make your own,but they shouldn't have new worlds sold for that much.

Omg it's so hard to take care of a family in TS2 compared to 3. I have 4 sims in my house and it's so hard, in TS3 I can handle like 8 sims no problem.
