Lawyers in the Britney Spears conservatorship case have just asked the court commissioner to make her conservatorship permanent. And the judge said she would grant the request.

Obviously, you need years to fully recover from such big breakdown. Maybe performing will be her therapy... maybe not. We shall see.

Exactly. I don't get why some people are freaking out about this. Everything to make her healthy, to keep her improvement.

OMG. It means NOTHING but she is going to be under her Dad's control for however long til they feel it's ready. She's under conservatorship AT THIS MOMENT. Promotion/Video, etc. will not change.

I love Britney to death, but I don't know why you guys are freaking out about this. This is EXACTLY what she needs. Remember, "permanent" isn't "forever", and it can be lifted WHEN THE TIME IS RIGHT. She has been on such an uphill climb ever since Jamie took control of her affairs; her and her family cannot risk everything falling apart again.

Anyways about the conservatorship, its subject to change in the future..

Im sure the court or her lawyers dont want to deal with the matter right now and would wait till Briting is ready to fully take her affairs into her own hands so they just made a ruling permanant for the time being...doesnt mean it will be forever, which it wont be.
