I think if one of them smash solo it will be Harry. He's undeniably the main group member, the most famous, the most popular in their fanbase, and is the most followed member on Twitter.

I doubt Zayn will pursue a solo career since he's getting married and he's the most uninvolved member when you look at writing credits. He's also the least followed member on Twitter. He also has a very quiet and reserved personality and I don't think he would be interesting enough to sell records as a solo artist. I picture him retiring after 1D.

I think Louis will pursue a soccer/acting career and I think Niall will have a little solo musical career and have some success but not as much as Harry. I think Liam will also pursue a solo career and will join The X Factor or something as a judge.

If I were being delusional, I would say Louis is the best singer in the group with the best shot at going solo.

If you legitimately believe Zayn and Liam are "nowhere near their level," I'm afraid you never heard Katy or Rihanna sing live. Katy has been a professional singer for, what, 6 years now? And yet she somehow still finds it easier to land a #1 single than to find the right key to sing in. Rihanna finally managed to deliver acceptable vocal performances on average only a year or two ago.

I'm obviously not saying they're Beyoncé level, but I can say that Liam and Zayn are good enough singers to have a decent chance at solo success without being "deluding myself." And FYI, I frequently see you trying to discredit 1D, so don't pretend you're any less biased than I am.
