I hate when people say PNP was a bad single choice because it wasn't pop friendly.
PNP is extremely radio friendly, Nicki + her team had no idea how to public would react to it. You can't blame them.

Billboard peak really doesn't mean much when the song is Top 10 on Rhythmic and MAYBE Top 10 on Urban.

Yup! A song that went Top 10 on Rhythmic and Top 20 on Urban is hardly a flop no matter its Hot 100 peak. Yeah, it is an underperformance for a lead single in general but it did well for a Nicki single.

I'd love if PnP continues growing and makes it to Top 5 on Rhythmic, Top 10 on Urban, and Top 40 on Pop but I know that is me daydreaming. We never know though!

This is better response. Hot 100 with streaming and video views do represent a better reflection as to what is popular at the moment.When a song doesn't do well on hot 100 it can save face if labels push it to do well on rhythmic urban or any other radio format.

Hopefully top 10s can go across the board.

I love the production and Nicki's verse, but there is something about Usher's part that I can't connect with. I'm glad other people aren't having the same problem as me though and this song is growing on radio.
