Has ever a flop album won a Grammys? I mean if C2C doesnt sell well.. Does it have a chance for a win? I really think that a Grammy win could remind Gags who she is and how good it feels to win an award.
won, i dont know. But Sara's The Blessed Unrest got a nomination for Album Of The Year and I'm pretty sure it did not sell more than ARTPOP.
eDit: nope, it barely sold 400K in the US and probably less than 1M WW.

I can't find anything on them getting rid of it, just moving it to another field. Not only would it be ridiculous for them to remove it, but if they were, there would definitely be news about it somewhere online. Like I said, they're just combining fields, not categories.

Best Traditional Pop Album was the only category in the "Traditional Pop" field, that's probably why they're changing that. It's dumb to have a "Traditional Pop Field" with only one category in it

Since it's a Jazz album it's not eligible for the Pop field and thus not for that category
