Has ever a flop album won a Grammys? I mean if C2C doesnt sell well.. Does it have a chance for a win? I really think that a Grammy win could remind Gags who she is and how good it feels to win an award.

Yeah I'm wondering the same thing. Does this mean they're simply moving the Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album category to the pop field, or are they removing it altogether and combining it with Best Pop Vocal?

I can't imagine it selling less than ARTPOP, tbh. Tony's fan base is extremely loyal, and of course Gaga's fan base won't all buy it, but a good portion of them will. That should secure at least platinum right there. I don't want to get too ahead of myself, but if they promote it well and Interscope pushes it hard enough, it should be successful.

If it's good it will get the nom, even with subpar success. Didn't "Brave" get nominated for ROTY? Gaga and Tony are much bigger stars and together with good material there's no way they won't get the nod.

The fact that both of Tony's Duets albums won Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album and his collaboration with k.d. lang also won, assuming they don't remove the category, it's basically a shoo-in at this point

That's exactly what that means; which could lead to C2C not being nominated at all, seeing as that was the one category that was guaranteed for it.
