And? Respect is just one factor of a legacy. Eminem has sales and respect. Britney has impact, controversy and iconography. Eminem has not dwarfed her like the posters in this thread would like to pretend.
I do agree that Britney would sell better if she promoted and did it well. But we've seen in multiple countries WW that 10 times out of 10 a male will outsell a female of equal or greater status given they have similar circumstances around their career. This is nothing new.
Eminem peaked at the same time as Britney.
Both of those songs are trash. Rap God is the good song on his new album. And let's also not act like Hell: The Sequel was decades ago either.

What about Bad Guy, Going Through Changes or My Darling?

I'd say pulling more than 100k and having a moderate hit with a trash album that had literally zero relevant promotion, not a single **** and basically the entire project being a peon in the residency's game is quite respectable. Britney could slay and be global again if she wanted to.
Eminem is an icon and he has my respect for the most part, but some fans here are getting way too pretentious .

An Icon and we are pretentious?

Anyways,
Kanye vs Britney would have been a better poll. The media never really took to Eminem like Britney. She is just on another level. She reached dizzying heights of superstardom that only a few before her have reached.

Do you have WW touring receipts? That's the true test.
And again the media never took to him like Britney, which is why she wins.
