Bey is a songwriter. It's part of her resume and nothing will change that. She has written many songs for herself and for others. There is nothing delusional about it.
The only thing delusion about this thread is people saying that she doesn't deserve credits for adding melodies and arrangements to certain songs. Or that she isn't a songwriter because she works with other writers.

And that's the true tea. Her work that other people write for her is very cute. But going above and beyond and claiming all of these credits and things when we know how homegirl talks and others have confirmed the extent of her writing ability multiple times is just laughable.

So according to y'all, Beyonce isn't a songwriter because:
1- She didn't write all her songs by herself or from scratch.
2- She's unfairly taking credit for work that isn't hers by coming up with new melodic ideas, lyric changes and overall arrangements integral to the structure of the songs.
