Her album not only performed poorly because of declining album sales across the board, though. ARTPOP fell off the charts after a few months on it.

A friend of mine went JUST for Gaga, so the crowd would've been of 99.999 people without her.

Considering Gaga's stage was away from the main area, and there were other stages, then no.
These people all ran to Gaga's stage because she was performing. No one forced them to watch her. They all decided they wanted to see the Queen of Pop.
