Are you ****ing serious? Simona's early career was dragged down by her 34DD, which caused her tremendous back pain for years. She had a breast reduction surgery which took a couple of years of getting adjusted to. She lost way more than 3 years in the process.
Talk again when Bouchard wins 7 titles in a year and rises to Top 3 at a meteoric speed.
Both are overrated. One tries too hard to be the next Pova, while the other is like Vera with bigger boobs.
In the first half of 2000s, we have the trinity Serena - Venus - Henin with Clijters being Murray
Then we have the rising of countless Russian girls like Pova, Dementieva, Myskina, Safina, Kuznetsova, Petrova, Zvonareva.....
And now it's time for the new European girls aka Azarenka, Kvitova, Lisicki, Genie, Kerber, Halep....
She's beaten by Safina in Wimbledon 2009 QF, then Safina's beaten by Serena in the semifinal
She's beaten by Sharapova in Wimbledon 2011 SF, then Pova's beaten by Kvitova in the final
She's beaten by Kerber in Wimbledon 2012 QF, then Kerber's beaten by Radwanska in the semifinal
You know what happened to Halep this year
And the worst of it all,
She's beaten by Bartoli in Wimbledon 2013 final, then she retired
She's like a real life version of Rouge, sucking out her opponent's energy
I bet she feels good about herself though, Le Wimbledon Curse.. Who else?
Either way it's great for Bouchard but Kvitova will probably take it, which is surprising I must say.. I had totally given up on that girl, but who knows she might be on the rise (again) We'll see what she'll do from here
Ive given up on Petra too (I still root for her but thought she'd never reach a GS finale) but let's not get ahead of ourselves, she's the grass GOAT now, wait for the USOpen Series
Congrats to Petra for winning her second Wimbledon title! Her experience and power will be crucial in the final. Eugenie did well to get this far but her inexperience and the power tennis style Petra plays will prove to be too much for the canadian player.
Will be exciting to see who will get GS title first. Simona or Genie. I think one of them can do it already next year.
I agree with Martina, if Petra pulls the same perf. she showed in semis she has it in pocket! And I think she will, she's already won W, she been there and conquered
Genie's unexperienced, she might be winning GS in 2015

If she wins this Saturday, I can see her winning AO and the French. Those are the two she's had best success with after Wimbledon. I think I'm right, she's gunna find some consistency and be the next Djokovic.
