Since the Sims characters is now driven by DNA, CAS now has a new feature (our favorite): The family genetics. When creating a new Sim you can do that like you always did and start at the beginning or use the new functionality and randomize children of two existing Sims – finally hair color isn’t the only thing that kids inherit from their parents. They actually resemble them. In the same way you can create parents and siblings. Your family actually looks like certain physical features are passed on.

Kii at this though. I remember back when Sims had genetics.

I would hate having to keep up with a high-end pc just to play the sims, having to update your settings every time they release a new expansion.

Ugh the storyline's in TS2 were one of my favorite things about the game

this, the less requirement for higher specs the bigger the market. That's what EA is focusing.

Surely toddlers are only out of CAS & not the entire game
Or maybe they're doing the gradual agin thing, the young phase is todler/child then you go on to teen/young adult. I can hope.

I just started playing Sims 3 again for the first time in like 3 years, It's not bad but I still don't like it as much as Sims 2.

The faces of the sims always looked so bad to me compared to the ones in Sims 2 (though I got around it) and the fact that there's no Open For Business Expansion Pack (my favourite one) was just

I know there's the Bakery and some other things but its not the same for me.

The Sims 4 characters look good from what I've seen but what's this about them taking out Toddlers and Young Adults?

Toddlers I can live with (although I think teaching them to walk, talk, etc is an important part of the game) but not the latter.

ugh I hate how limited the features is compared to the sims 3 base game.
I can deal with the downgrade on the graphics but I just can't deal that I only have 5 houses and a damn loading screen, not buying this unless it requires 2GB of hard disk space and it cost 6$, how dare EA let this roll out killing the franchise already

Young Adults are still there. They only took out toddlers of CaS; they probably wouldn't get rid of them from the entire game.

I thiiiink we saw a screenshot/render of a woman playing the piano! Can't say for sure though. Hot tubs, yes, remember that meltdown.

Everything was so nice and good during the days of TS1. You could make a pool anywhere; just put them in the water, use "moveobjects on" and then put them in the grass and they'll swim forever.

This is such a bummer, TS3 didn't deserve an ugly downgrade as it's follow up, the Bionic of this game remains unbothered.
