There's no solid vision behind the album. It's simply a very confused and uninspired piece of work.

ARTPOP sounds like a parody of an album at some points. Like a parody on pop music I don't know what was going through her head...

BTW would have been a fantastic minimalistic era! It would have fit the theme. ARTPOP would have made a great visual era. If she created a consistent visual era with color and performance art* then that would have been really progressive, if the music was experimental.

That's why I want him back. He collaborates with Gaga, they make songs together from scratch. Also, he's a good songwriter. Whether some like it or not, Gaga needs him, not necessarily for his production, but for his songwriting/melodies, etc..

It is fantastic to listen to while hammered though Only when one is an incoherent mess does ARTPOP make sense

And really, at the core of every great pop song is something that's really classically rooted - a melody that can really transcend the production and become something that people hum and gets stuck in your head.

It's why songs like Eh Eh and Just Praise (as well as Poker God, Prayparazzi) sound so good on the piano:



Would songs like Donatella, Manicure and G.U.Y. translate well on a piano? Because I don't think they would.

They shortened everything down to fit it into a radio-edit format. I don't know if that was a Gaga decision or a label decision, but it was stupid. Swine should have been 6 minutes to let the song build.

Gaga could have kept this song for her and her friends to play when they get drunk. Should have replaced it with Partynajngkjd or Brooklyn Night
