I guess it's really not. I had high hopes for this album when WC dropped, but every following release has been one crushing disappointment after another.

Oh well, BTD/P is still there and it's still a masterpiece, hopefully the next album will be different.

Eh, I will agree. They don't all sound like they same sound. They just have the same type of atmospheric quality to them, which is kind of her shtick if you ask me. I understand why people don't 'get it' but I agree that they shouldn't say it sounds the same just because they don't understand it. To me the album sounds quite boring, but as someone has already said it's only snippets so I can wait until I hear the full thing to judge better.

That is variety though. And honestly it's a lot more adventurous than this sounds. You don't have to like it , and neither do the people who don't have to like Ultraviolence but hey it is what it is to them. Not sure why you're trying to argue them down over their opinion.

I don't see how they all sound the same, there is a THEME, like albums are supposed to have, but they are all distinctive from one another.

Snippets I like so far are Shades of cool, Brooklyn Baby, Sad Girl, FMWU2TT, and I love Ultraviolence, and West Coast is pretty good. Sounds like I'll have a good amount of songs to reuse from the album. The rest I will have to hear in full.

In all fairness, some people that have posted here already never had an attention span for Lana songs longer than 30 seconds. Not all of them, but most of them.
