I don't care if people think it's boring or that it 'all sounds the same'
This is such a wonderful sound. Just what I want to hear from her right now.
Just like Born To Die had a sound that was perfect in my life 2 years ago (but still fresh)
Brooklyn Baby, Money Power Glory, Old Money, and Florida Kilos all stood out to me.. but it's all too soon to tell.. i definitely will be downloading this album to decide if it's worth purchasing or not
It wasn't a 'drag', I was just making a point. Rihanna releases hit singles, Lana releases music that's not meant to be a hit. Not that anything wrong is with Rih's strategy or singles, I like her music. But for Lana, she doesn't make them because she wants hits, she just wants to make music, that's all. Therefore I don't know why are you looking for 'hit singles' on the album.

No. And whoever said it sounds like Sirens couldn't have been more wrong than that. It doesn't sound like it all.
It has a jazzy vibe to it. I love Florida Kilos. Wonder why she did not include it on the standard and The Other Woman sounds great as an album closing track for the standard.
But you can't really say that much since it is all really short, just 30 seconds.
It's called creating a cohesive album. I sure as hell would take UV over a sloppy cluster**** of sounds like ARTPOP.
That would be like a fashion designer sending the same outfit down the runway 20 times. An album can be cohesive without being repetitive and monotonous.
West Coast is obviously the only standout on the whole album
West Coast is only saved by its chorus. Some of these actually sound instantly lovable. FMWUTT, Money Owe Glory, UV, Brooklyn Baby all sound fantastic.

I'm not being funny or anything but at least BTD/PE had songs that you could swing to and get hyped for. This is just one big wallow I don't even know how this would transfer over into a live setting, I would imagine that it's really lifeless. Even the midtempo's like Brooklyn Baby.
I'll save my full opinion for when it's actually released. I think I might cancel my preorder though.

thats great, and after hearing the relased tracks there is no way you can judge by a 30 sec snippets, 4 example, shades of cool, it changes like 4 time!
