Hip Hop meets R&B, with a little Pop.. Only the queen..... I just cannot. Smash after smash
Mariah has yet to disappoint. Ive loved everything from this era. The flawfree You're Mine, Art of Letting Go, #Beautiful, Thirsty.. Even Triumphant is a BOP. I still play that classic now. And she should of included it as a bonus track for sure.. I don't care what y'all say about that.
I like the remix version now, I actually like how Mariah goes with the grittier unknowns versus big names, and I like the bridge a lot. But I still think #Beautiful is the kind of material she should be releasing, classic sounding records that are still major hits. But I guess a ratchet bop can't hurt
I don't love this song. The only single that she has released so far that I don't love. It's a cute bop but that's it.
I thought about that earlier too. When it comes to her, I want timeless material. Stuff that stands up 30 years from now and I revisit it and feel the same. Not like T, YM, and TAOLG which I listened to maybe a day or so and put it on the shelf never to touch again.

I like life/love all the songs you mentioned but they burned out fast for me too. I can't see myself listening to the tracks on this album like I tracks from Mariah Carey, Daydream, and Butterfly. We obviously haven't heard the whole album yet but I have a feeling we're getting another Charmbracelet/Memoirs where you have to be a stan to listen to that album more than once. That is not what Mariah needs right now but hey.
