I've always been a hardcore fan of her and even the blackout between BTW and ARTPOP killed my interest in her, seriously. And I'm not even talking about the hip injury, I'm talking of a year and a half blackout. I didn't see her at all in 2012. I know she loves touring, but she has to release music or at least keep in touch with the public because the wait was ridiculous.
I don't think she should take Rihanna's steps and release one album a year, but she should do something like 1 full album - 1 EP - 1 album - 1 rerelease. To be honest, I thought the hip injury happened right after the MTN video in 2011, not last year. And that says a lot.
This is without doubt her best song imo. The instrumental is just magical.
It was fun at the time when TFM tracks were premiering was hearing elements of her tour interludes in the songs... 'he ate my heart' in Monster and this beat for SHICD.
Nustaljuhs fo geeks
Once you get past that hilarious voice and accent, she said some interesting things.
"Well, I don't like blogging, I think it ruins the mystery of an artist. I don't really want people to care too much about what I think of anything other than art, fashion and music. And I think artists can get too comfortable with blogging"
Literally the complete opposite of lm.com posting/moderating/twitter meltdowning ass
Someone should make a long-ass post on LM.com citing interviews like this and using examples from her recent actions to describe how she's changed as an artist and as a person. Not to drag her or anything, just to let her know. It's like she's a completely different person now, I'm curious to see how other monsters/she would react to seeing it, but I'm lazy and I'm not good with expressing myself.
Also, SHICD and Monster are 2 of the best songs in Gaga's discography.
"I always thought it was you/You always thought it was me/We always thought we were it, seem like a real perfect fit/Those Brooklyn Nights set us free"

If not a re-release, she can always be a feature on someone's song so she still has music out. But we all know how she feels about features.
