Begin Again performed terribly because of the backlash from WANEGBT.
If the era was
SoG--BA/Trouble-->Treacherous-->Red-->All Too Well
RED would have sold 5mil copies in the US by now and would have been aoty.
WAIT! Haircut already? Girl.... you just finished a show.
And my siblings enjoyed Her music. They are R'head stans. Both over 25.

I would prefer that, but I don't think she would. A nice medium would be the SNWT.
Red was over-produced, too scheduled and lacked the spontaneity of SN. Maybe that's just a rose-tinted glasses view but it felt like a lighter time. Everything about this era just seems go go go. :
I don't disagree. I enjoyed SN shows more than RED. There was something magical about that tour.

Red would've been a SN 2.0 and with possibly the less debut week sales from the original Red (probably at the similar levels of SN) without those MM tracks. If you don't believe me, just look at the chart performance of Begin Again
ATW isn't a radio friendly song, SOG maybe. But i believe she chose the perfect tracks until 22. Before 22, there could be another country single and 22 should've been released in the summer.
Begin Again started very good tho, but it dropped rapidly (like her singles in SN )
