Janet.
She's influenced so many artists. Celine is amazing and her achievements are undisputed, but I've never heard anyone cite her as a significant influence and in the category of powerhouse vocalists, she's always mentioned third after Whitney and Mariah - sometimes not even mentioned at all.

Answering Celine is the same as saying Los Del Rio, since Macarena is ultra-iconic. I can only name MHWGO and I'm Your Angel (and the latter is not iconic).
What exactly has Celine done of iconic?

Everyone will vote for Celine, they'll say MHWGO is bigger than all of Janet's hits, they'll bring up her tour gross, album sales, and call Janet local and say she was never popular in [insert country]. Thread will get closed.

Welp. 6 of the 7 things you've mentioned have already happened.

Definitely Janet. She's literally influenced every pop artist in the industry - Bey, Britney, Gaga, Rihanna, Pink, Nicki, Jennifer Lopez, Selena Gomez, Justin, Usher, Katy, Miley, a ton of K-Pop artists have all acknowledged her and referenced her in some way. She's imitated and cited as an influence by artists everywhere.
- Set the standard for female choreography
- Brought the headset mic to prominence
- The first to use the midriff baring style
- Pioneered the teen pop evolution from virgin to sex vixen (Miley, Britney, Rihanna, Usher all followed this)
- Has several of the most infamous and acclaimed pop albums of all time
- Her songs are often sampled by newer artists
- The Superbowl incident literally changed television and was the most watched moment of all time, made her the most searched person ever
Even all the choreographers, dancers, and tour directors Janet was the to first to use are still being used by newer artists today.
She basically created the blueprint most pop artists use now. Celine has influence for sure, but her overall impact is nothing compared to Janet's.

Rihanna, herself, said that.

I was inspired by Mariah Carey and Celine Dion. I was about seven years old when I discovered I had a voice and I told my Mom, "I wanna do this for real."

Not just "one" of their influences, that's not what I said.

Did any of the artists on your list except for maybe Charice cite Celine as their MAIN influence or did they all just name drop her?

Did I ever doubt she's a good vocalist? She's a GREAT vocalist. I said she always falls behind Whitney and Mariah when powerhouse vocalists are talked about.

 ALL OF THIS.
Janet, in essence, created the modern pop star. Her impact and influence is much greater than Céline's.
