How is it a misunderstood tweet? Pretty clear to me. He hasn't clarified what he meant in his meltdown, only defended himself.

Freedom of Speech means you can say what you want.

It also means that other people can disagree with you and say what they want and go against you. You aren't safe from being criticized, no one is.
