Beyonce = Pepsi, Blue Ivy, Jay Z, Super Bowl
Rihanna = hit songs, bad girl image, weed.
Since it's been so long since Beyonce has had a hit, people affiliate her more to her business ventures rather than her music.
She has practically no memorable songs (apart from Crazy In Love which was only a hit in English speaking countries) whereas Rihanna has a ton.
