Downtown is expensive to live in, but midtown is reasonable. West end is pretty nice too.
I would say the pros and cons of living in Toronto is the same as any other big city. You're close to more people, opportunities, events, culture, good food, etc. But there are also a lot of jerks in the city, and the pace is very quick if you're not used it. Also, obviously, living here is more expensive than a small town.
Toronto's great though, sis. it's full of a lot of great people and places.
