I've known people who've gotten accepted into Engineering and Science programs at Ottawa with below 75% averages.

The admission average doesn't always reflect the difficulty or quality of the program though. U of T isn't that hard to get into but staying in (and getting high marks) is a whole other story. A lot of people get weeded out anyway.

Though I'm not sure how U of Ottawa's program is.

Ottawa U is a pretty terrible University.

Not only is Waterloo harder, but it's more respected among employers (Highest employer reputation in Canada) and has the best Engineering faculty in Canada.

There's a reason Ottawa is called last chance University.

Pretty much. Toronto is like a mini NYC, a big city with a small city feel. Seriously, I run into far too many people I know on the streets, at the mall, at restaurants, etc. It gets even worse if you're int he gay community - it's so small
