IA with people in this thread. Britney has more of a package (consistent-sound in music, girl next door looks, etc)
HOWEVER, as seen by BJ, her interest in the industry continues to COLLAPSE. Christina needs to (no pun intended) go back to basics. Seek out LInda Perry, Mark Ronson, etc. Make an album similar to B2B and/or Stripped, tone down the style (she's been better, recently) and focus on the VOICE. Don't go crazy with the oversinging, do songs a la Say Something, Hurt, Save Me From Myself, We Remain.
TL;DR = Britney was the full package, yet she doesn't care and it's showing in her music. Xtina will have her voice to back her up, if she plays her cards right.

Then please, point me towards her latest stats (starting with Britney Jean).
What was her #s in the U.S.A, U.K and top music markets?
What was her chart placing in the top music markets?
How much has her singles sold this era (so far)?
What are the chart placings of her singles this era (so far)?

No, but it was when she started to flop. Hence, it is being compared to BJ.
Sit.

Xtina on The Voice: LOVED by America, high ratings.
Britney on XFactor: PANNED by America, low ratings.

Those stats are almost the same though. That's like comparing two students. One gets an 84 on their test. The other gets an 82. They are both in the same grade range. Nitpicking numbers isn't going to help you in this case.
Look I want both of these girls to still be around in 2023. They obviously aren't going to slay consistently like they did in 2003 but both of them will have their moments here and there, and I think that is a great accomplishment. Neither of them have anything left to prove at this point.
I would like to see how X's next album turns out though. She has proved she can get hits with features, but I want to see if she can get her own hit next era. I also want to see the strongest singles from BJ go to radio in 2014.

that makes no sense at all. people never compare beginning of flop eras.
if we are speaking purely in facts of chronology and career length (which is what this thread is about) it makes more sense to compare the eras that are closest to each other.
Bionic (2010)- 110,000
Femme Fatale (2011)- 276,000
Lotus (2012) - 74,000
Britney Jean (2013)- 107,000
oop.

If Britney didn't do X Factor, she'd still be bigger in America. BJ's first week sales WW outsold Bionic's. X Factor tarnished Britney's American career.

Yes, Britney has sold more albums, we all know that. However, the girl is already 32 and looks about a decade older than she really is. She won't be able to stay releasing the brainless and ****** music her idiotic and psychotic 30 year old stans love. She is too old for that already, besides who likes that kind of music at middle 20s, even worse at 30s? She lacks talent, she can't sing, and yeah, she was a good performer for about 5 years, after that... even Katy Perry is better. She is THAT bad. She has always been everyone's puppy, can't even control her own life, and now that she shows no passion at all we can safely say she is soon to be done.
I don't see commercial success for Xtina either. She deserves to flop, because Lotus was filled of crappy music. The minute she realizes she is just a lucky girl with a decent voice (it was great once) she will maybe have the chance to score a decent hit. She needs to give the writing power to someone else, no more empowerment "anthems", it's been a decade, get over it. And she needs to take care of that voice, cause she is loosing it. Get a surgery and start eating your damn stupid ego and go take some vocal lesson you stupid bitch. Cause lately you've been singing horribly. What Nicole said is true though. She will always be remembered for her voice and talent and that will help her.

I agree with this. I blame Simon for wanting her to do it so badly. Especially because it was still a time where she wasn't really herself yet.
