but as to whether her past releases were art, think of it like this. Gaga practiced acceptance and was still weird before BTW, just that BTW was about celebrating that part of her: her weirdness and acceptance. Likewise, she's been doingg Art all her life, and ARTPOP is just about celebrating that.

agree with everything except the preaching. she will always and should always have a cause/concept. What's the point in her eyes of having hits if she's not inciting change/making a statement/making a difference. Its what sets her apart and makes what she does mean more (to many) than what other popstars do/achieve.

Preachy popstars are boring to me. Everytime she goes on about bullying and cyber bullying I feel like I'm stanning for my elementary school teacher instead of that badass popstar I want to be entertained, not bored
