Joe, I believe, made the initial explicit content rules some time ago - don't quote me because I have yet to consult the archives - but it was Athens who initiated these new policies, I believe, and he is still rather active on the site and knows what's going on with it. Again, not 100% sure, but pretty sure.

Blogs will now be treated like the rest of the forum. No explicit or offensive content allowed (No “NHB” or “Dirty Talk” content). Private blogs have a little more freedom when it comes to celebrity discussion and general arguments, but sexually explicit content is prohibited and blog titles must not contain offensive content (no shading, trolling, etc).

Wait so if the point of the change is explicit material, why are you banning NHB talk, shading, trolling? Can we let those stay and just take off the sexual stuff? I think that would be kinda fair.

You're right, and the new changes help bring more focus to the stan aspect of the site. People who post in the Dirty Talk blog are not participating in the stan world. They're being horny gays.

I cannot believe such a fuss is being made about making Blogs stricter and preventing inappropriate avis. The fuss when they started censoring curse words (and "****" for some reason) was more understandable, but even still… it's really not that big of a deal. You'll continue to get your stan news and some people will continue to push the rules further and further and get banned for it. It's not that big of a deal.
