We made this thread to explain to you guys why we made the changes to the site. Google, Facebook, Twitter etc. does the same thing when they make policy changes
What does the fixation on explicit content concern the members who want to enjoy ATRL for what it is mean for - pop music? What about the people who hear about the "mess" reputation of our site and decide not to join? What about younger members with parents who happen upon Blogs and decide their child should never visit again? Why do these people and more need to pay for someone being a little too horny or shady?
Child People want to join BECAUSE of the messiness. Ain't nobody here for a playhouse disney run mess.
Also, lets not act like people can join ATRL anyways. You know how many times I tried to sign up?

What big changes have them done though? A layout change? Force Google+ on everyone? It's not the same thing at all.

And look how that's turning out for Google... The entire site is in a riot!

You people are so dramatic and petty. Yes, we're going to ban any avatars that show at least 1/4 inch of skin. Actually, we'll just ban the users that try to use them.

At this point I am just talking because it's a good way to waste time. The actions based on thoughts of a few mods are what is going to change the forum. Not the feelings of 500+ members.
G.U.I. (get the Gaga reference?!?!??), there are some differences. Blogs had become the pits, and, as I've said before, anyone can go to Tumblr and find the adult entertainment they've been waiting for. We don't need it here.
Racy avatars were always forbidden, i've seen countless members being banned because of it. REAL ****ography was always forbidden in Blogs as well, the only thing you got was "sexy" gifs of male models. And we DO have the NSFW tag
I'm sorry but we're on page 27 and yall have to yet give me a reasonable argument besides "because we want it"

Except Google, Facebook and Twitter are, um, in a different league to ATRL. They strive to provide good service and are more useful.

You were given many reasonable arguments but you do not agree with them
