I'm not angry,just saying I have to be lenient when contestants decide to wait til the last minute to submit and end up needing more time, since I can't have a game without contestants to participate in it.
This is also one of the hardest challenges we have had [/backtracking], so having it set on 5 days might make people rush it and deliver low-quality songs.
But hey, if people want me to be more strict, I'll just stop accepting deadline extensions after this challenge.
I get for some people it might be kinda irritating that some people take more time than others in sending things, but actually you never know about last-minute commitments so again, they don't bother me that much as long as I feel like what I've written is good enough to stay in this competition.
Then again, I'm still of the idea Huga is possibly the most opposite thing to Simon Cowell as for a judge/host.
well this would be a quick as **** season if I eliminated all but 4 contestants this round, now wouldn't it?
They would have submitted by now if they knew the deadline was final (give or take a few hours), not just a "please submit by this time. If not it's okay."

Because they'd feel pressured and rushed and we would have a bunch of horrible entries and Nait and Adam would have a huge dragging session.

But here's my problem: contestants get 6 days to write one song, and then there's one day for all the judges to read every song, write up their judging for every song, rank all the songs, send it to Huga, have Huga compile results, make calculations, post judging comments and averages? I don't think so.

Well, you haven't judged before, how would you know? Whereas I've written many songs before and I know it doesn't take 6 days. And if you respond to this with a simple reply of "But we don't always have time to write a song!": well, I don't always have time to judge. I couldn't even judge last week since by the time everyone was in I had things to do and couldn't write up all my comments over the course of 24 hours, 18 of which I'm either sleeping, at school, at cross country practice or on a bus, not including time I spend eating or doing homework. I'm not saying that contestants aren't going through the same things with time issues, just that it's rude, unreasonable and frankly ungrateful to think you can submit whenever the hell you want and judges are able to just spit their comments and ranking back out at you.
We can't write up our rankings as we go if everyone submits last-minute.
