Pretty sure that Ed confirmed at one point or another that he wasn't directly involved in their new album.

Yas. They'll be the first boy band since the Beetles to have critical acclaim.

Yeah, she has a nice balance of pop/rock material and her other stuff are a really good eclectic mix of genres that the boys can take note of. Even her demos have variety in them. Lord, Don't, Love In These Eyes and Bleed For Me would be great songs for the boys.

(Also I have access to rates. Which tells me how much the good sis REALLY likes their songs with Ed )

Kiii. I love me some Ed but I think it'll be good for the boys to expand their collaborations out more. Especially on the third album.

Nor am I. Kelly would be a good influence on them learning eclectic tastes and experience different sounds. She may not be as the big pop star as she used to be, but she definitely knows her genres VERY well.

Originally no, but enough people submitted rates with 0's that I am just going with it. Over half of them would have to be redone if I disallowed 0's.

She is actually at her vocal peak now more than ever. And I think the boys could do more in their vocal training. As good as they are, there's room for improvement.

Thank the Lord, Kelly had classical training.

Back on topic before we get our wigs burned; aside from Kelly, I think some collaborations with Sia would be amazing. None of that dance-flop-repeat mess from Guetta. And some new producers would be great since the boys' sound NEEDS to be expand out besides the basic electro-pop sound it has.

...and I agree. 1D needs to stay FAR away from anything dance/club. That is not their audience and probably never will be. I also agree that they need to add some new blood in their production crew, the Scandinavian team that works with them for their original songs are pure flop as far as mainstream music goes.

As for a sound, I think they can take some sort of alternative-punk pop sound or something soft-pop rock. (And I know I'm making up genre-esque mess description; but it'll have to do for a demonstration).

The Salt Lake City stop was pretty much panned because you couldn't hear the music and Zayn was too busy sulking.
