i thought pain split would work like endeavor if the pokemon was level 1 too, and the reason i didn't wanna use sunny day for NU is because usually when i'm battling in NU, if i use a turn to use sunny day i'll probably get 2HKO'd by a choice scarfer or set up on.
but anyway, i'll just stick with my half NU/half NEU team (fan-made tier on the program i use, never ever used)
shell smash carracosta usually lead, stored power musharna, choice scarf sawk, haunter, mesprit, and slaking
i kind of want to replace one of them with a focus sash volbeat, probably carracosta or slaking. i haven't tested shell smash carracosta too much yet though, so hopefully shell smash can patch up its pitiful speed.
and if i do put a volbeat on my team, i will probably do the tail glowing to either haunter or mesprit.
oh btw using this musharna is so fun i've swept with it alot it has barrier, calm mind, moonlight, and stored power

Eh, if you have the right pokemon set it up, it shouldn't be a problem, but I know little to nothing about the NU tier, so maybe so.

Am I the only person who's never been able to win this:
Or am I just a failure?

I only ever managed to win the silver Luck Symbol.
I'm trying again to get them. I just got slaughtered by an Umbreon in my 11th Factory match.

Lol Lucy is the only one I ever even made it to.
And she was so strong, I came so close to losing.
But, I've built up a new tem that I think I can use to at least get to Tucker or Anabel now that I've given up on the Factory for tonight.
Wobbuffet is a beast.

Omg y'all I've just confirmed my Togetic has a perfect Special Attack IV.
What kind of good fortune? It was my first Mr. Pokémon egg.

Even so, I think I like my current team better than a Sunny Day one. with the team i listed in my last post, i even won an NU tournament with 12 people on pokemon online a bit ago (which i was really surprised about since some really good people were in it and imo im pretty noobish compared to alot of pokemon online players )

So you guys do competitive battling here? I gave that up after Gen V began - it's just getting so complicated anymore to keep up with the tiers and which Pokemon are actually in them. One day you're fine and the next your main physical sweeper is banished to Uber territory.
But, I've been thinking of getting back into it soon.

Yeah, I use Pokemon Online a LOT. I thought the same as you did at first, but a few months ago my friend was discussing her teams, and I decided to play some again. At first I sucked, but I got the hang of it again and I'd say I'm fairly good now.
However, most people on Pokemon Online are AMAZING, so compared to them, I'd say I'm average.
It's really fun, though. And with gen 5, so many new features were introduced to make competitive battles more fun.
And if you were to get back into battling, I'd reccomend Pokemon Online too, since it's a fast download and probably the biggest competitive battling service people use. (Over Smogon, too.)

The only thing that really ever bugged me was the tiers list and how they'd ban a pokemon outright just because it's hidden ability, which many of us have no access to, makes it a team destroyer.
I played mainly over Wi-Fi so I haven't tried any literally online (like with a PC) battling, but as I understand it that's where a lot of the metagame is shifting now. If I do come out of my competitive pseudo-retirement I'm not sure if I'll stay exclusive to Wi-Fi or not. EV training is tedious work...

I've wanted to try competitive battling/Pokémon Online for awhile now but I haven't. I know there are multiple forums for it, but Smogon for example seems very serious and I figured I'd blow at it so I haven't bothered.
Like, I'm not an idiot and I try to keep up with what's going on casually but it's just that initial noobiness that is keeping me from it.

Welp, I think I'll be getting back into competitive battling.
I'll be using the Frontiers across Gen III and IV as practice. I was just swept on my first battle of the Dome tournament, after two consecutive championships. I suppose this means I really should EV train if I want those symbols!
I'm thinking of keeping my Wobbuffet, then adding in a Milotic as a special-based tank, and then either Metagross or Salamence as a physically-based tank or mixed sweeper respectively. Thoughts?
