Oh gurl, It has nothing to do with my ideal popstar because if it did there'd be A LOT more complaining and suggestions sis. Trust me!
If you REALLY read the thread and my comments you'd see that several times I've said that I'm not expecting any hardcore dancing from her and would settle for anything along the lines of the Circus era. If I was forcing Britney into my ideal popstar mould she'd be looking amazing 24/7, promoting everywhere and putting all of her effort into her performances like did in her prime.
Wanting her to be in good shape has nothing to do with me micro managing anything, it's me, as a stan wanting her to look like the A-List popstar she is. All I want from Britney is improvement. Unlike you and several other Brit stans I don't and won't settle for everything she throws at us.
She has a tendency to look bigger one day and then slim the next, don't we all know that already?
Like that candid from February where she looked bigger than she did during the FF era and then in next candids she looked slim again. I guess she just gets really bloated after a big meal or smth I don't know. Anyways I wouldn't worry yet, considering the new era will most probably not even start in the next 5 months or so.
Her dancing skills getting better each era until she broke her leg. The MATM choreo is her best and most intricate.
Right. Most of the performances from her debut era were pretty bad and the 'Oops!' era had its share of performances that were average at best (even though the VMAs performance remains her best televised ever.)
All of her recent trainers suck. She’s in shape but she still looks like a bodybuilder and needs to lose some weight. Losing weight has always had an immediate effect on her face and made her look younger. It’s one of the reasons why she looks old most of the time now. No one’s saying she’s fat but she’s kind of chubby. Her body on tour wasn't really THAT bad:
In shape but not skinny. Not much has changed since.
With all this talk from producers I have a feeling that something is going to happen this summer. Also, with her hair slowly turning back to blonde and being in and out of the gym and also dance studio I wouldn't be surprised if they choose to be a last minute surprise at the Billboard awards. What's the point of going into the dance studio more than a few times.
PRRRAAAAAAAAAAYING for a late May summer single smash premiered at the Billboard Awards may 19 and follow Katy and Pink's August/September album schedule.
This is the best opportunity to get one or more mid tempo/ballads released
This is an even better opportunity to use album 8 as an opportunity to build up hype/campaign for anticipation.
Releasing an album in September/October has many benefits
a) summer single/fall single will help the first month sell on fanbase alone and then into the 4th quarter will remain steady for holiday sales. Then the winter single can be promoted at the grammy's and then the spring single can be promoted at the Billboard awards
b) cutoff for grammy noms are late September so she can be submitted for her first two singles and possibly her album for 2014 and then submitted for her album and her last 2-3 singles for 2015.
c) lengthens the era and is a catch all for the top promo opportunities/award eligibility cutoffs etc.
d) November would be a short era with fast rise/fast fall sales.
Announce Vegas residency (slated for Spring 2014 Mar/April) this week or next week. In shape magazine June edition, talk about workout routines, Vegas, Album, regular stuff etc.
Early May - host Wango tango with first single anticipated for later that month but good press before the era nonetheless.
1st single - Summer smash in May (game changing uptempo track). Perform at the billboard awards (I mean isn't the award show going to be held at Vegas anyways). I mean they only have basic performers. gaga can't perform until the fall, Beyonce will be in Europe. They need an A lister to perform with all these lessers.
Summer-They don't have to be complete with the album just the first single and a handful of songs she's been recording since late Summer 2012. Finalize the album in August so that means more trips in the studio and do photoshoots for the new era (darker blonde hair. Bleach blonde hair only looks good on girls 25 and under).
Promo: Radio interviews, magazines, tv interview, GMA concert series, MTV special
2nd single Aug- mid tempo that she can perform live release between August 19/20 Monday/Tuesday whenever the billboard cutoff for radio and sales are. Immediately put it up for streaming and a lyrics video or whatever to get youtube points to count for a full week.
MTV VMAs: I've already stated that I don't want her performing anymore because I don't think she has it in her to make another iconic performance/headliner for good (2000/2001/2002 stole the show with MJ/2003/2008) or bad (2007...still stole the show). But, I want her to win with her record setting 10th #1 WW global smash that happens to feature Will.i.am for best male video, best pop video, best visual effects, etc.) Hell, maybe she can perform a la 2000 VMA where she sang live the first 45 seconds (her 2nd mid tempo single) and then nails it with the dance performance of her 1st single uptempo summer smash...just be there and get the press Team Britney.
Album release August 27th or September 3rd (I believe there are discounts on Labor Day holiday). Target deal for sure.
If she can almost pull 300k with FF type of promo...I need 400k/500k+ this time.
3rd single: November ballad boost sales for the holiday season
New Years Eve: Host a Vegas planet hollywood event for millions to end the year off right with hopes of a good year(s) in Vegas 2014/5
AMAs: November Attendance/Performance of new single/Win for scream and shout (her global smash featuring Will i am)
Grammy's: February her ballad will reach it's peak in radio by late Jan/February so a performance would give it a last boost/peak on the billboard hot 100.
Prep work: Mainly in February and March but some in December/January start prepping choreography, pre-recorded vocals (no shade), themes, looks
Promo blitz for Vegas (end of 2013 and spring 2014): This can be done either in the last quarter when tickets go on sale and also right before the residency to remind people again.
MTV special similar to her onyx hotel tour rehearsals in 2014, preferably Feb/March/April
4th single: Uptempo spring smash late March/April: at this point let it do what it does and perform it at or give it press at the 2014 Billboard Awards in May.
Vegas residency in Spring: ...won't comment until I get more details.
Billboard Awards May: End the era with an artist achievement award/icon award where they highlight her contributions accolades on billboard 200 albums/hot 100 singles:
In addition to her seven successful eras, the 8th era will add:
Accolades:
Another #1 album, #1 single, a few top 10s
Her team needs to re-certify 'Britney' to 5x platinum and In the zone to 3x platinum and while they are at it certify TSC gold. They only need 250k sold to certify it gold. During the 8th era they need to do discount deals for TSC until it reaches that amount.
She will go platinum again and Billboard should highlight her 35M certified albums although she technically should be at 37.5M and the 8th best selling female artist in the U.S.

FFT is the wackest thing she'll ever do. People made fun of the props on TCSBS, but at least they were stage pieces. On FFT, she was apart of the props leaning or sitting on them. Sitting in the damn electric chair on the epic HIAM breakdown. Hanging on the pole in UND. Most horrible choreography ever created for "3". Standing in that airlift for the iconic "POM". Sitting on speakers for "BFB," rolling on the car in "How I Roll," fail lapdance on "L&L," standing on those air vent things and flapping her arms on "Amy," "sitting in that damn boat THEN walking up/down all the flight of stairs during "Gimme More," don't want to remember LOOK AT ME IN THESE PICTURE FRAMES Y'ALL on "DDB," "Boys" -- best part is the snake by the, oh wait, dancers. "DLMBTLTK," typical Britney sit on the big swing/umbrella/whatever and sing the song so low might as well just kept the track by itself.
The entire supposed-to-be energetic piece of BOMT/S&M, she is sitting or rolling her jumbled "abs" on those damn, cheap ugly motorbikes. "Slave" is of course the best thing about the show, but she is stiff and dancing 5-seconds ahead of the background girls. "Trouble 4 Me" is hot for like 40-seconds during the pre-chorus/chorus/beginning of 2nd verse. Embarrassing breakdance during "Womanizer," though the back lean/center piece rising remains iconic. don't want to discuss "I Wanna Go"'s "performance".
"Toxic" weak especially in comparison to how AMAZING it is on Onyx, Circus and hell even M + M Tours. And Britney knows how I feel about "TTWE" performance from particular dates. My criticizing and @'ing her on Twitter about it got me a follow the next day.
And the scripted "audience interaction" was embarrassing to make up for the criticism that she lacked it on The Circus. Trust, I'm much more satisfied with "MERRY CHRISTMAS" and random yelps. It was her, at least. Not what Larry & Jason wrote up.
So in all, while I LOVED being at the show and singing along with all the gorls, when you watch that DVD, when you look back on everything.. the show sucks.
This is not a meltdown!
PREACH IT.

It's really just up to her feeling it. And for the most part, she's felt the stage bar Femme Fatale.
ALL OF THIS.
The "new" stans need to stop getting all fed up over us old school stans complaining about what they can't see because they weren't there in the beginning.

Obviously FFT is the 100% the original "Slave," so there are more moves.. but that's all there is. She looks like she is just trying through the performance, while on "Slave" in The Circus Tour she looks so INTO it, hitting ALL her marks and clearly full of energy and sex. If you can't see the difference between the videos.
As I've said yesterday, Her ENERGY >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> black hole >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> 10k bags of **** >>>>> "coreography".

Surely! Let's list all the good things about that DVD:
My friends think Britney can't dance. Once one friend was like "OMG did Britney ever perform Till The World Ends live?! I wanna see that!" I ended up opening her performance with on tour with Nicki, the one that was uploaded by some popular celebrities website. Throughout the performance they were all like "She's lipsynching!!" "She's not even dancing!" "What the **** is she doing?" "What happened to Britney?" "Yeahh Britney move those fat arms!"
I died a little bit inside, and made sure they never saw the breakdown of the song.
