Kelly screams at the top of her voice. That isn't power. Beyonce actually produces resonance. She creates MORE sound with LESS tension. She doesn't bang her cords together as hard as she can like Kelly does.
And having a thin voice is due to a lack of resonance, so that's dead.
Bey's a lyric voice, so the size of her voice isn't big. It's more of a medium-sized small voice. And her voice has a lot of treble, not shrillness. Shrillness is caused by too much effort in the cords and muscles without proper air function, which leads to many things, such as a high larynx, which is evident in Christina's singing, not Bey's.

I always disregarded Kelly's entire discography and talent after that dreadful "Life Suck Without You" song. But listening to her covers and performances lately, she can actually do a LOT with her voice. She is not just a belter as everyone thinks.

A lot of people don't consider her to be a master/supreme vocalist. Yes, she is belty and uses all the vibrato her lungs can muster, but as far as having a very controlled instrument (Whitney in her prime) or the range of an operatic angel (Mariah in her prime), I don't think Beyonce is there.

She is undoubtedly a performer/entertainer like no other. This generation does not have anyone comparable.
