The Sound of 2013 poll doesn't have a massive effect over the UK. It helps people find them to get them their break, Azealia headlined the NME tour and they promo-ed the f-ck out of her and it worked. Ellie Goulding won in 2010 and Marina came second and neither of them found a massive break for a while after.

I mean I know it's not immediate stardom, but it does have quite a list of winners and candidates. It definitely gives artists an opportunity.
in order for this to have been a legit! fire on fire beef. azealia would have had to come for angel's head but with it being the other way around it's not legit cause azealia's emotions and rage aren't into it like the past beefs
she killed iggy with **** up the fun
the jim jones beef was average but none the less a ok diss track
but this is more of a regular track that didn't make the album grouped with BBD under the same label as "throw out for promo"
