Thy Womb.) My initial thought after: "Taena, parang napanood ko na 'to dati ah. Sumotto na naman?"
Angel made the role sympathetic enough, with an equal measure of bombast. But it WASN'T GREAT. Mukha ngang marami pa siyang kakaining bigas bago marating 'yong legendary status na tinatamasa ni Nora ngayon. (Every performance of Nora IS great. If not, at least, commendable.)
I think those who cry foul for Angel's not winning are plain REACHING. There's a reason why The Superstar won all those trophies from film festivals abroad with this part.
I want to learn tho.
