It's the most unusual thing, something ain't right. I can feel it. This is so unexpected.

Luke is gonna be pissed. Those rabid Animals on Twitter were bombarding him with hate everyday for months, asking for new music. Now that he finally got it done and its out, it's on the way to becoming a commercial failure.

I think the gp's not aware that Ke$ha has a new album out. besides everything happened so quickly, They didn't talk about Die Young until the vma's then drop it out of nowhere then suddenly the album's out in like a month or so? everything feels rushed..the timing's just not right but that's just imo

Maybe it is the timing, I mean timing is EVERYTHING with these releases.

Sometimes I get scared that her personality is just too innately alienating to allow her a celebrated and lengthy career of pop diva superstardom. It makes me sad that success has to be SUCH an uphill battle for her all the time since the people find her polarizing because she's not afraid to transmit her own frequency. It feels like she has to work harder than a lot of her peers to achieve less.
I hope its underperformance is just down to lousy timing and poor decisions. I think we can all agree that people not buying an album because they don't know about it is always better than people not buying an album because they don't want it.

We can definitely agree on this.
And I get what you were saying in your first paragraph. I've had the same thoughts before. Success doesn't come as easy to her as it does for others I guess. But I wouldn't want her to compromise herself for the public, so I can't say I'd want it any other way.

Yeah, my sentiments exactly. I second your last sentence word for word.
Also, I've been thinking about things a little bit and I realized that, if I weren't such a big fan, Die Young certainly wouldn't have been enough to convince me to buy the album. Out of all of the songs on the CD, it's probably the one least likely to sell albums, so I think there's a very good chance the subsequent singles -- yes, even C'Mon -- will bring in more sales. So we just need her label to keep the album a priority and I for one think all will be good.

ALL OF THIS, yes! Die Young is a bop for sure, I realize that, but... it's really bland and not exactly intriguing imo.
C'Mon would have been a much better debut single. She could have accompanied it with a music video of cats getting it on on the dancefloor or in a bar, and Ke$ha kitty with Clockwork Orange makeup over her kitten eye could have hooked up with and catnapped a handsome tomcat. Like the lyrics video! It would have been so adorable and a cute, humorous way to promote and re-introduce her to the public.

Omg, this video concept idea is so cute and perfect that I'll never get over if it we end up getting some typical, expected video of her writhing around in a club or dancing crazily with a bunch of friends. I love it so much! It'd also make up for the fact that the song doesn't really tread *too* much new ground sonically. With a video like that, no one would care.
Plus, it'd make Ke$ha the patron saint of cat lovers everywhere, which imo could only be a good thing!

ikr?
Someone should send her or her management my idea for the music video if it wasn't too late for suggestions already. I'm sure she'll be shooting a video for C'Mon pretty soon.

I love Warrior but there are a couple of really generic, not interesting enough songs - Die Young is one of them and it's not even that good.
Last Goodbye or Supernatural would have been so much better.

I hope she survives this era, I really wanna see her go HUGE next album...
Im talking Calvin Harris collab first single, lots of WORLDWIDE promotion, Powerful slower song as second single, 2 or 3 promo singles (all with banners on itunes), decent music videos... Im sure the difference would be huge

I love Die Young but Supernatural >>>> in every possible way. It should have at least been the second single

Ke$ha is known for her one-liners. Die Young really only had one - "that magic in your pants is makin' me blush". C'mon has a bunch. I think I've been a little harsh on the song. It's not bad at all I can see it doing really well. And some good news is that with not many people buying the album.. we have more potential single buyers

Agree with this C'MON is almost entirely one liners. I think the public will love it
I think DY is the BTW of Warrior in the fact it was released first BECAUSE its the weakest and doesnt fit anywhere else.
