Even though I liked it, the trashy image needed to change. You all make a good point though. Whatever image she is going for now is not very interesting. She should work her quirky personality into her style without being an attention seeking mess like certain pop girls.
I think if Katy Perry could do it, Ke$ha could too.. Its just about getting her image and message across better, people are still kind of scratching their heads because the trashy party girl from 2010 is replaced by a more stylish and laid-back girl today with no explanation
I think she really could have done it, provided they made the absolute right single choices.
"Die Young" and "C'Mon" would have not made much difference, on a worldwide scale.
"Crazy Kids" and "Last Goodbye" probably would have though. They show something new.

Crazy Kids (maybe with different verses) and Last Goodbye WOULD have been perfect
Seriously, this album should have been out long before it was. The break was too long. She should have come back in May with Crazy Kids followed by Thinking Of You in August. Album in September & third single being Supernatural or Last Goodbye. Something like that, idk. Then Die Young should have been released fifth as the summer single of 2013 or something.
First of all, this era's timing could have been better. Here's my opinion on how it shoud've gone:
June- "Die Young"
October- "Supernatural"
January- "Crazy Kids"
April - "Past Lives"
August- "C'Mon"
But still... This album >>> 90% of everything (albums) released this decade tbh.
In all honesty, they could've and should've released Crazy Kids in January and then released the album in February.
That'd have been extremely ideal. I'm surprised they didn't just push it back.
pause the breakdowns and see how it all goes after c'mon
edit: we can have a thousand breakdowns a day but it's not gonna change the bad sales and choices rca made. It is what it is we just have to deal with it and support ha

I'm not going to lie i kinda get life from some of the massive meltdowns and yes, there's no point in talking about what could have been because it isn't going to change anything. I am still optimistic that things will take a turn for the better.
I wonder if the sales would have been even lower without the holiday season supporting it.
That's the thing, I feel like it was released too late for Holiday support. A lot of people are just doing last minute shopping now. If she had waited until January she would have at least had all the fresh iTunes gift cards people got for Christmas being spent on her lol. And time for more people to realize she had an album coming out with C'mon picking up steam in January.
I mean, I wasn't expecting Warrior to set the international charts ablaze right from the get-go, but I definitely thought it'd get off to a better start than this. These positions and numbers are just dreadful and embarrassing.
I hope they'll somehow find a way to salvage the album because it's way too good to go unnoticed.

It really is. My baby doesn't deserve to underperform like this.

I don't understand what the problem is. It's true that her promo thus far could have been a little more aggressive, but it's not like she's spent the last few months sitting around at home either. You'd think all the promoting she has done would have garnered her at least a little more success.
