I remember the first night I opened for her, it was my first time playing in an arena, like doing a show in an arena, and I was acoustic, so you can imagine how nerve racking it is to try and fill a room with 30,000 people or 20[,000] whatever with acoustic instruments on the stage by yourself, you know, but it was cool. "We did the show, I was nervous as like butterflies and everything. I get off stage and I see this tall shadow and I'm like 'Is that her?' She was really complimentary and turns out she had sat there and watched the whole show from stage side and I just thought that was really cool. That meant a lot to me."
