Didn't she owe them money?
But Taylor is to blame too, because she did multiple songs.
But I guess it's fine if she's happy with them, she's still 22 afterall.

Sis you've got to understand that nobody keeps that same level of success forever. If Tay sells like Madonna does now, 30-40 years from now she will have cemented herself as a legend. Look at the legendary STevie Nicks and compare her sales to Madonna Madonna is still ******** on all those other legends sales wise.

Not talking about success only, I'm talking about the songs she's releasing, I'm afraid that Taylor tries to succeed again and just fails miserably and releases generic songs that do her nothing but harm her reputation.

No, her tour is MASSIVE! and I think it's enough to outsold Taylor album and tour gross combined.

Tay won't do that. Madonna new singles haven't been that good but look at what Mick Jagger's done collabing with Will.I.Am. once the legendary status is cemented it can't be taken away.

So much promo in those answers. I long for the day when she doesn't have to tow the commercial line. Red keds, covergirl, wonderstruck perfurme. Okay Taylor tell us you're real answers without the filter of your sponsers.

Which is kind of starting to happen. You can tell its been affecting Taylor too. Here's something she's poured her entire life into and celebrities are passing different variations of that that tired "maybe all of Taylor's exes should get together and write a song called "it's not us it's you" joke around.
I feel like Bob and Triggerman et al recognize her talents and don't want her pissing them away on the likes of MM or Scott Borchetta. Because even though she's young she can brand her career right now and it'll be hard for her to turn back from that kind of thing. IE Jewel. She was a folkie, she went mainstream for a bit but then they got distracted by squirrels and other stuff and moved on to something new and now she's just there. I told one of my friends when WANEGBT was released that it wouldn't be problematic now, but it was going to be down the road, and I still stand by it. The album comes out, it's clear that it is in no way representative of the rest of the album but it's the one song she's stuck with for this era (at this point). She has to play it on every awards show, every talk show etc. to promote the album, but it does nothing to showcase her songwriting skills. She looks like a product of Max Martin at the moment when she has the ability to be so much more than that. That carries over into the next era and the next and the next.
IDK I have a lot of feelings on the subject but I just woke up and I have a super itchy rash that's really distracting me (you didn't need to know that I know but I felt like sharing) so I'm all jumbly and stuff. Maybe after coffee.

I think she will but it won't be her choice. Pop will just drop her one day and when that happens she will hopefully do no more pop songs.

i agree.. except that i dont think Bob realises her talents! i think he's just drunk and grumbling all about how she cant sing bitter towards taylor!
and about WANEGBT and it representing the album.. i get what you mean! its not how the rest of the album is but she's stuck with it being the ambassador of RED!
good stuff!
