I don't exactly think it works too well either, I was just providing links for everyone to be helpful
I think it works but VERY little...
For example, the following will determine if Radio stations will support a song:
*How Radio-Friendly a song is
*How well it's doing on streaming services such as Spotify, or YouTube
*Single Sales
*Radio Deals or Label Push
*Video Attention
*Awards Received
*Album Sales (If an album sells really well every Week, it will influence Radio to play its Singles)
All the above will show that people like the song WAY more than Radio requests will.
With that said, I think requesting a song BEFORE its official release date will help Radios jump on the song and add it quicker. This is because when a song is released it doesn't normally have any digital success, video success, streaming success or anything to go off of yet. So Radio stations wii likely look at which songs just came in and are eligible for play and if a song has been getting requests the Week beforehand it will likely get added before a song that has been getting no requests...
Final Note: I think Try will do very well for the following reasons:
*P!nk was named the 2nd most successful Artist on Pop Radio in the last decade
*P!nk has become a HAC staple recently with 6 #1 hits and 3 consecutive #1's
*One Last Kiss went #1 on Pop, HAC, and Dance
*Try has already had digital success, peaking at #7 on ITunes
*Try's video has gotten a lot of attention
*The Truth About Love has had consistent sales and is still in the Top 10 on Billboard

Guns & Roses has been described as the 'money maker' on Trouble Man
Does that mean hit single?

8 Things You Need To Know About T.I.'s Trouble Man
"Remember when Pink was a soulful R&B singer that would sing about "most girls that want the man with the bling-bling?" Well that girl may not ever come back, but she made a quick cameo in T.I.'s standout pop record, "Guns And Roses." Produced masterfully by T.Minus, Pink uses those trademark pipes to belt out this song about loving a person so much and feeling so much passion for them, you don't know if you want to kiss them or kill them. "Have you ever loved someone so much that you hate them," Tip asks in the song. This is another truly exceptional record, which has the most crossover appeal of any song on Trouble Man. Probably as close to a "Live Your Life," featuring Rihanna that Tip has gotten in quite a long time. This is a homerun."

Billboard also raving about the song and calling it a moneymaker
"T.I. is sure to please ladies, as he did with the ones in the room including Simone "Bosslady" Amelia, HipHopDX's Kathy Iandoli, and more, with the P!nk-assisted "Guns & Roses." The album's "money maker" features P!nk channelling her R&B edge, a' la 2000's "There You Go," when singing, "Guns and roses… we don't know which one to choose when either way we are gonna lose."
"I rather be miserable with her than suffer without her," Tip raps on the T-Minus track. "

I remember GHSF opened with 45k. Not sure about CTMH. But for some reason I keep thinking of around 30k. CTMH debut was really low, below #20 I think.

Yeah. CTMH peaked at #26. But it sounds like it may have debuted lower because everything just says "peaked".

Heeeelp me, leeet gooo of the chaos around me,
The devil that hounds me,
