I still think the old system was much better. Even though certain songs were ignored by country radio, most of the amazing tracks were getting what they deserved: #1 on country chart.
now only artists with who sell-out to pop or employ other tactics would get high on that chart, when the true country crowd doesn't care about them
e.g. Jason Aldean getting Lil Wayne on his tracks, Blake Shelton getting massive exposure due to The Voice, Taylor Swift being so popular and doing pop music
it's just not right or fair to other country stars.
Oh well.. I shouldn't really care about this. It's just a genre chart... but it was always nice to see genre specific songs on it, not pop songs on top of every chart when they don't belong there.
