See the thing about the Fame was that it was sincerely created. It was a great pop album. Now it just seems like she going back to dance/pop because an album underperformed. That just doesnt feel sincere.

Actually-hold that thought. I kind of like the fact that she is calculating. It shows she has intellect and is conceptual and that kind of is important and somewhat missing in pop music today. everybody else just make aimless fistpumpin/ass-shakin club hits or pre-k cutesy boy meets girl songs.

She's not saying she thinks the album was bad or that she purposely tried to make it bad. She also said this before the era even started because she knew it wasn't what her fans expected, but it was what she wanted and they deserved.
