She's always done this though. From saying that her music was all supposed to be about parties and fun, to saying that she had much deeper meanings in her music. She's keeps changing from era to era.

I've already begun seeing people jump back on the Gaga bandwagon now that Gaga's working with younger, more fresh producers. How many people do you guys think will return when the iconic ARTPOP is released and smashes the charts?

They do that with every artist. Gaga will easily have the whole site for her suddenly stan for the music she makes, but 2 months after order will be restored

Except, she's not Nicki Minaj and she didn't say or imply that, at all. She never mentioned anything about people not being true fans. She said the album tested her fans and that's she's greatful for those who stuck with her. It's not reaching, it's simply being able to understand words.

Let me repeat, she is not saying that she put out BTW specifically to test her fans, rather that because the way the album was received and how it turned a lot of people off, it tested the fans. It's not hard to distinguish the context in which she spoke.

She's not saying she thinks the album was bad or that she purposely tried to make it bad. She also said this before the era even started because she knew it wasn't what her fans expected, but it was what she wanted and they deserved.
