This is INCORRECT.
It doesn't matter the number of songs, it only matters the amount of music. Case in point: Donna Summer's 2nd album "Love To Love You Baby". 7 songs. In some countries it only had 6.
An album needs a certain amount of TIME to be considered an LP rather than an EP.
"LP" just stands for "Long Play".
