I think that even the video was released in something like bottom 2009.
The thing is, you can't just become a stan out of nowhere, she didn't have any performance recorded that I know, so in fact she was unknow for the rest of the world the majority of 2008 except US. However, becoming a stan in 2010 would be more 'credible' since then she became a megastar.

If that's so then you're stanning for success not talent. She had already done many things such as lollapalooza and her cherrytree sessions which made me a stan. Poker Face and Just Dance were BOTH released in 08 same with the videos.

I bought The Fame on August 19th, 2008. Just Dance peaked at #1 on August 23rd in Canada.
