Exactly.. But it reached Top 40 next year in January
I think that even the video was released in something like bottom 2009.
The thing is, you can't just become a stan out of nowhere, she didn't have any performance recorded that I know, so in fact she was unknow for the rest of the world the majority of 2008 except US. However, becoming a stan in 2010 would be more 'credible' since then she became a megastar.
