I think that's a bad idea. The song is doing ok in Europe, and then we'd just make the next single perform worse overseas (and if it's Scheisse, that'd be such a loss).
Besides, then by the time the Grammys comes around, there'd be no reason to promote Scheisse but a new single, and that would make this era move much more quickly than anyone really wants, and people would complain more than they are already).
I think they should continue to promote Marry The Night. There's still time for the song to pick up.
It's not doing terribly on HAC, and after Christmas it can still do well on AC (perhaps). Rhythmic is giving it a sideways glance as per usual for a Gaga single. Pop just isn't into this song either, or I don't think it's that they aren't into the song, I think it's just that they aren't into Marry The Night as they are other songs.

I doubt Interscope would want Gaga to be promoting a song that's dead on pop though.
I don't agree that she should move at ultra-light speed either, but performing MTN if it were (we don't know that it will) to be losing that many spins per day already... Would just be kind of awkward.

Is she just doing 1 song?
I don't think it's going to be losing that much spins by then, really. I would say it's going to have slight increases or slight decreases kind of like how Criminal or Countdown was doing, except that Marry The Night is in a higher position.
Or, it could simply pick up. Who knows anymore?
