Let me just say, it's not that I am mad with Britney or anything. I am just mad at how poor the communication that is being transmitted from management/execs to the fans is. We don't ask for much, but a treat would be nice here and there. The album is a month and a half away and there is no music video, no album title, no confirmed tracks outside of "III Wanna Go and HIAM", no interviews, no performances, etc. What is the hold up? The secrecy isn't building up positive suspense, it's making people angry. We're seeing poor leadership on the part of management and the PR team.
This mess NEVER happened to us from 1998-2005. The fans were led by Larry and company with extensive communication. Where is management? Where is the publicist to confirm or deny rumors? Britney's publicist in the early days was ALWAYS on her ish. She released public statements at the drop of a dime to dispel rumors when the would start to spread. I want to see improvement made with decisions and leadership amongst the management and publicity staff, because what we are being served right now is PITIFUL. Make no mistake about it, everyone's frustration and animosity solely lies in the poor leadership of the managers. GET IT TOGETHER!!!!
!!!
Even YouTube videos recorded in the studio or at her home would mean a lot. I miss her doing interviews and performances.

This better not just be Dr. Luke/Max Martin productions on this album. I know we will see William Orbit but I also want to see Danja and Bloodshy & Avant and some ballads on this album!!!
"About A Girl" is bow-worthy. An amazing gloriously sassy up-tempo. It's neither bland nor repetitive, one of the Babes' best. Even though I overplayed it, it still gives me life. The beat is so heavy, I love it.
The rumors about the 4 songs are FAKE!!! They say that Antídote is a Bloodshy & Avant production, and this is FAKE!!! There is a SONG called Antídote but is produced by Dr. Luke!!!! So this 4 reviews are FAKE!!!!
I don't really think having Katy's team or Matthew Knowles is going to help much (unless it's Matthew to buy awards for her), I honestly think it's Britney (herself) not wanting to perform or do much promo. I still have hopes she will do at least a GMA performance
However, I do agree her team is messed up, but that's with info, rumors and news that are never confirmed/denied and their delay on releasing stuff for the fans...
I don't know why anyone is blaming her management. It's obvious Britney doesn't want to perform. She could easily perform on the Grammy's or on ANY show at her command. She = ratings. **** I bet FOX, NBC, CBS, ABC or ANY NETWORK would give her a 2 hour concert special in a HEARTBEAT. They'd probably even pay for it all.
SO FREAKING SAD AND DISAPPOINTED TODAY.
It's not her fault. I bet Jive is the one to blame, they must believe they are protecting her or something.

Fact of the matter is, it's still too early for a performance, next week would be the perfect time to start performances and begin a promo tour. It's not that she isn't performing right now that is pissing people off right now, it's the way in which her managers choose to release info to the fans or dismiss rumors. We are never provided exclusive info or details about what's in the works like a good marketing and managing team does. That's there jobs, to strategize on how to build hype and keep fans interested. Right now, they are failing miserably at that. That's what's the problem is.
They were still recording the album before she even released the new single. The album cover wasn't even shot until this past weekend. Everything is late right now and I just wish better decisions were made. If everything wasn't ready to begin yet, why not just push back the dates?
Next week would be the perfect time for promo to kick in. Performances, appearances + video. This era has been handled so badly thus far.

Im tired of feelin jealous of how other stans get a lot and we barely get stuff from her team and her. Im super positive about this era but i just dun wanna be let down once again, my poor mexican heart could not take that feeling for the third(fourth if the count the singles collection) again

Leave that **** out of a Britney thread, ain't no one here for that.
Yeah, she used to NEVER avoid performing. It was always something she loved.
She still claims she loves dancing and performing, but I don't see it. :|

IMO, Circus had a better start-up....
I highly doubt it's she not wanting to do it. Looking from this point of view, "Circus" was so amazingly planned; they were slowly heating the things up since September. Magazine covers, "For The Record," the VMA's... everything was good besides the performances timing; they should have all been earlier.

I have to agree with you. Not even the best team in the world can help if the artist doesn't really want to do it or maybe she wants but she's afraid to do it again for what happend in 2007.
Well with Matthew as her manager at least she would have all her albums and singles certified and all her receipts updated
I understand people are worry about Britney's invisibility these days.
But I think we'll get promo, performances & everything eventually just not now...
The video's gonna be premiered, we're all gonna be snatched and then the bald headed fans/stans that we are will get to enjoy all the stuff we didn't get from the previous eras.
And if we don't... I'll still continue to love her and I will not jump the ship.
I couldn't do it even if I would.
Have faith and stay positive (and take a cold shower or something).

Hopefully the video will make it up for everything.
I know who BoA, the japanese or something singer, is. What I don't have a flying **** clue about is what "BoA, the lost Britney album" is.
Her first US album kinda sound like Blackout (I think she had some similar producers). She had some really epic song (they could have become classic if Britney sang them) and Britney has a co-writing credit on one of them.

She worked with Bloodshy & Avant or Sean Garrett on almost every track.
